Supergirl vs Reactron by Jamal Yaseem Igle

Superman villains appear to be taking out their frustrations on his younger cousin.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chris Browning, who appeared in seven episodes of SONS OF ANARCHY, will arrive in the third episode of SUPERGIRL on CBS. He will portray Ben Krull, a deadly Superman villain who wears a nuclear powered armored suit. According to the report, using the villainous name, Reactron, he'll be seeking to kill Supergirl in order to exact revenge on the Man of Steel.

Prepare for this to be a running theme.

Villains who have been defeated by Kara's Kryptonian family will seek her out, seeing her as inferior competition. While I'm not a big fan of National City being the dumping ground for failed Superman villains, it does make sense as she builds herself up from zero to hero. While many fans will see this as disrespectful to the Maid of Might, it's a natural progression for a character being introduced as a hero for the first time. Not to mention, Supergirl's own gallery of villains in the comic books isn't very good.

SUPERGIRL premieres on October 26th at 8:30 pm, after BIG BANG THEORY, and then will begin airing at its normal time of 8 pm on November 2nd.
