Several days ago we tipped you off that a full trailer for Destiny 2 would arriving today. It's time to "Rally the Troops" and push the play button.

Things are about to get crazy.

Zavala and Cayde-6 are speaking to the Titans and Hunters respectively, each of them describing how the world as they know it has changed. And invasion has come. The tower has been destroyed and new legends will rise. Most importantly for gamers, according to Cayde-6: "There will be a ton of loot!"

How can you not appreciate that declaration?

Cayde-6 is really stealing the spotlight for the sequel of the hit game by Bungie. As well he should as his popularity has skyrocketed since its inception. It doesn't hurt that he's voiced by the charismatic Nathan Fillion.

The trailer focuses on the story, teasing things to come, but doesn't offer much in the way of gameplay. What we are seeing is probably a bunch of cut scenes. Or, even better...this is strictly promotional animation. If that's the case, we are seeing some real dedication to the franchise. Not that any Destiny player would question Bungie's committment but if they're producing original content strictly for marketing purposes? Well, that would be special.

Even though we just got a game update, the last one before Destiny 2 is released, I'm really looking forward to the addition to this powerful franchise with a loyal fanbase. The trailer also confirms the leaked information regarding a September 8th release date as well!
